I strongly object to this application based on the following: 1. The horrendous smell that the anaerobic digester will produce will make being outside unbearable at times, particularly in summer. This will inevitably have an adverse affect on property prices in Haverhill and Withersfield. 2. The size of the digesters will be an eyesore on the landscape. Any tree planting plan will take decades before the trees will mature to a size that will go any way to obscure the digesters from sight. 3. The proposed site is on a flood plain and there will inevitably be risk of offsite spillage into the streams that pass through the site creating a hazard for people and animals downstream.
