(a) too close to a very pretty, quiet village, Withersfield;
(b) too close to (the western side of) Suffolk's fastest growing town of currently around 30,000 inhabitants, Haverhill;
(c) on the prevailing windward side of Haverhill;
(d) going to increase already heavy (industrial, bypassing and commuter) traffic on the slender A1307 road;
(e) going to bring foul smells and air pollution from (c) and (d) above, plus from the lakes (basically cesspits).
