This facility will ruin this town. There's new build housing in the direct vicinity, a number of businesses, including my 2 year old sons nursery, which will be impacted, and of course, the smell will travel into the rest of the town, which sits in a valley, so presumably the emissions will meander into the heart of the town and sit there, forcing us all to breath in foul smelling waste air all day every day. There are similar (smaller) facilities situated near other towns in the area which are renowned for their foul smell. The people of Haverhill, which lets not forget, is one of the largest towns in the region, do not want to be forced to breathe in this disgusting brew, especially as it appears to be a rich man's joke on the people of this town. Other, more qualified people will voice their concerns over the huge amount of additional hgv traffic which will be created, presumably utilising the main westward arterial road, but this road is busy at all times of day and often static at rush hour. It should not be possible to site these facilities next to large towns. Haverhill is (albeit I doubt this will continue if the application succeeds) growing at a huge rate, with masses of housing being built in the outskirts. With the likely increase in population, the town may eventually have only a few thousand people less than Bury St Edmunds living in it. I cannot imagine a world where an application of this nature would be approved in that area. Please do not ruin this town for business, visitors and the people that live here, we've all had enough.
