This application must be refused. The location, so close to residential properties, is totally inappropriate.
The site is a flood plain, watercourses will be impacted by run off from the proposed site. This will impact wildlife and destroy habitats.
The area already struggles with traffic congestion, additional heavy goods vehicles will add to the issue and further impact the lives of residents in Haverhill and surrounding businesses.
Having experienced living close to one of these sites I can confirm that, despite Acorns assurances, the smell is dreadful. Those living close to the site will have their quality of life negatively impacted should this ridiculous plan be approved.
There are no benefits what so ever to local people from this proposal.
It would be negligent of Suffolk County Council to support this application in any way.
Whilst green energy schemes should receive support, there are much more efficient ways of generating green energy and no scheme should negatively impact the lives of local people or destroy the habitats of our declining wildlife and eco systems.
