I agree with the objections made by Withersfield Parish Council, the application by Acorn for a biodigestor plant, pipeline and digestate lagoons is contrary to all national and local planning policies and guidance.
The proposed site at Spring Grove Farm on the A1307 close to the main access roundabout to Haverhill from Cambridge is, in my opinion, unsuitable for such a facility because of it's close proximity to housing, a school, shops, pub and the Epicentre which has attracted vibrant new businesses to the area.
As a resident of Withersfield I am concerned about the increased HGV traffic along the narrow lanes, notably along Silver Street; and extra heavy vehicles on the A1307, already 'a high casualty route', especially large vehicles turning into the proposed site and negotiating the roundabout.
