As a resident of the Arboretum development, I strongly object to this application on the following grounds :
There will be a high detrimental visual impact to properties and businesses near to the Arboretum. These property's countryside views will be strongly impacted, and I believe this has been confirmed by the developers.
I believe, and there is significant concern from others in the area, that there will be a large amount of odours from the generators and these will be extremely unpleasant for the residents and local businesses.
The recent floods observed in October have demonstrated that this site lies on a flood plain and there is danger that further floods could cause contamination to the local area.
There will be large negative effects on West Town Park and the local wildlife.
There will be negligible benefits to local residents or to Haverhill.
I believe that this is totally the wrong location for this development and Acorn need to locate these sites in non-residential areas where local businesses will not be affected.
