SCC should refuse this application forthwith; there's is no valid agreement for it's approval:
1. There is no identified direct benefit to either Haverhill or Suffolk, the indicated 5 jobs to be created will be specialist in nature and are unlikely to be filled from the local population
2. Proximity to residential (The Arboretum) and Commercial (The Epicentre) developments, the proposed plant is less than 500m from these developments - a comparable development in Baldock is over 3Km from the closest developments and they still have an odour issue
3. The increased traffic on the A1307 and local road network is unacceptable
4. The proposed plant is located on a level 3 Flood Zone, this poses potential issues with over-flow flooding and contamination of local watercourses
5. No other sites seem to have been considered and the landowner is the only benefactor of this development
6. Inappropriate introduction to Suffolk - the proposed plant is located directly behind the "Welcome to Suffolk signage on the A1307
