I object to the Acorn Planning Application to build and operate an industrial anaerobic digestion facility at the proposed site. I support the very detailed objections made by both Parish Council and the Muck Off Acorn Campaign. It is the wrong location. I agree, wholeheartedly, with the objections raised by Steve Taylor, my husband, with specific detail relating to our home located on Silver Street, Withersfield. Quite simply, the construction and operation of an industrial ananerobic digestion facility would have a devastating impact on the day to day lives of the residents of Withersfield and Haverhill. Most notably the increase in HGV vehicles in and around the village would put the lives of pedestrians, children and cyclists at enormous risk. The application should be refused.
