I object to this application for the following reasons:- Smell- despite ACORN stating that there will be no smell, residents that live up near other facilities in various locations in the UK like the one proposed by ACORN state that the stench is unbearable and in some locations preventing people from selling their homes. Since the facility is surrounded by residential areas the location of this facility is not acceptable. Traffic Withersfield- Despite stating that there will be limited traffic from the plant using Withersfield, any traffic coming from the plant will be large HGVs or Farm Machinery and will cause hazard to pedestrians in the village since there are no pavements and also to other road users due the the small roads. Traffic A1307- The A1307 is designated as a high casualty route already, as seen by the roadsigns in place. HGVs leaving the facility onto the A1307 will cause a major hazard, as they pull out from the facility they will be joining a main A road where other vehicles are travelling at speed, we already see many issues and near misses from HGVs trying to leave the nearby lay-bys and this facility will cause a significant risk of traffic collisions on an already high casualty route.
