Comment for planning application SCC/0045/23SE

Dear Mr Rutter, I wish to strongly object to the proposed planning application SCC/0045/23SE for a Anaerobic Bio Digester. Having been born and raised in Haverhill all of my life (90Years), i totally disagree with the location of this proposed plant. This area is constantly flooding and having lived through both of the severe floods that we experienced during the 1950' and again in the 60's, this will lead to more potential issues from increased flooding and contamination of the Stour Brook . The A1307 has been classed as a "Dangerous high death toll road" and the proposed traffic in and out of this site will only add to the dangers along with the HGV's along the narrow roads of Withersfield and the surrounding villages. The silos and storage will look a complete eyesore and blight the beautiful countryside that we see on the entry to Haverhill. Worst of all, the smell will be unbearable and lead to a major increase in flies and vermin around the site and local area. Please think about the future of our much improved town and the already bad reputation that it has. For all these reasons & more i do not wish to see this go ahead. Yours Sincerely Ivy Taylor
