Dear Sir,
I object to the proposed development of an anaerobic digester at Spring Grove Farm, Haverhill. There is zero benefit to Haverhill/Withersfield, in fact quite the opposite. Residents of Haverhill will be forced to put up with:
1) A significant increase in HGVs and farm vehicles on totally unsuitable roads,
2) Unpleasant smells, especially in the summer months, leading to us not being able to enjoy outdoor open spaces when out dog walking and even when at home in our gardens.
3) The infestation of flies and vermin.
4) Risk of methane leakage.
5) Risk of flooding which could then pollute Stour Brook and flood park. This could cause blue and green algae which is fatal to dogs. Being a dog owner this could be terrible.
