This is the wrong location for such a development. All transportation and processing of materials required will create more pollution both noise and air to this area which is area of beautiful countryside. The pipeline they want to install and thereafter make collections from is in a rural landscape and the lorries on the small country roads are just not fit for purpose. They will be wrecked. The huge processing plant will be an eye sore to the town which is supposed to be the gateway to the East of our country. The area is also prone to flooding and this will only get worse as our weather now has extremes of rain falling. If this was to go ahead more jobs would be lost as employers and employees would not want to work in an area with monstrosity on their doorstep. They also state that if animal manure was not available they have the right to use any other kind of waste foodstuff which will definitely cause a horrible and disgusting smell. As I'm sure we will get some whiffs even from animal manure during the delivery and processing times. Another consideration is the possible reinstatement of the old railway line which would be on the same land as the Acorn development.
