Dear Sirs, I wish to register my objection to the proposed development of an anaerobic digester close to Havehill and Withersfield, I am concerned on a number of counts: 1. The inherent danger of having a plant processing highly flammable material so close to residential areas particularly since the lightning strike at Cassington on 2/10/23. The newly built Arboretum and Montessori nursery are only 2-300m from the site. 2. The inevitable smells that will engulf Haverhill with a prevailing westerly wind will be unbearable. 3. The A1307 has already been branded the 'Road of death' in the press due to the unprecedented number of serious accidents and fatalities. Acorn plan to move 92,000 tonnes of flammable material each year from this site adding, not just significant additional HGV traffic congestion, but a hugely increased risk of serious harm should a gas tanker be involved in an accident. Planning authorities do not seem to realise that with significant Haverhill expansion underway (3,500 new homes built or in build) that the traffic problems on the A1307 will get markedly worse. I urge you to refuse this planning application before the residents of Haverhill and Withersfield take to the streets, as I am sure they will,
