I object to this for several reasons. Eye sore - ridiculous place to put it just as people are coming into the town. Not a great advertisement for Haverhill. Also the people on the estate opposite won't want to be looking at it. Smell - This will create a lot of odour (as do the other plants of this type) and that will blow across Haverhill. We already have IFF to thank for the smells that we have to endure. Flooding/environment- this will be situated near West Town Park which is designed to deal with large amounts of water to control flooding. Surely this will affect that. What about the wildlife as that is a county wildlife site? It can't be good for preserving wildlife such as water voles, newts etc. Traffic - that road is already horrendous at peak times and introducing more traffic especially lorries isn't going to help. I can't honestly see one good thing about putting this plant on this space. It needs to go somewhere out of sight and definitely NOT where it has been suggested it goes. .
