I would like to object very strongly to the bio-gas plant as a resident who has lived in Haverhill for 56 years . Living on the Cambridge side of town , I am worried about the smell , especially with the prevailing wind coming from the west . I regularly walk my dog at the flood park and I also walk behind the proposed area up to Withersfield . This huge plant will be an eyesore and will generate noise potentially day and night. Unfortunately , I am a regular visitor to Addenbrooke's hospital and the increased traffic on the Cambridge road will cause additional congestion and risk of accidents . If this plant is so important to the land owner , Thurlow Estates, why can't it be located in Thurlow away from Haverhill , a highly populated town area .
