I wish to object strongly to this application. I object to the fact that it will look obscene at the entrance to Haverhill. It will result in companies leaving the EPIIC resulting in a negative impact on employment in the area. There will be an order that will result in me not being able to enjoy working and resting in my garden. It is obvious to everyone that flooding is becoming more and more of an issue with the river stour, so I also object strong about the impact this application would have on flooding. The river stour regularly over flows onto Haverhill Golf Club where I spend my leisure time, this will only get worse. Public footpaths near Pope Mill in middle of golf course are closed due to the bank of the river no longer being safe. Nothing gets done to fix it due to cost! The Bridge at Sturmer should have had work completed on it this year but again due to costs this work has not been completed. The application should not ever be allowed to be built in this location.
