I object to the construction for these reasons:
1. I do not want any more increase in volume of traffic (especially trucks with their polluting engine emissions) through Withersfield and surrounding rural areas, causing noise, pollution, smell, danger to pedestrians (no pavements in Withersfield), respiratory health problems, and general disruption to our peaceful village life.
2. The Acorn building will be an eyesore at the gateway to Haverhill, with its towering appearance. The residents of Haverhill are trying so hard to improve the status of the town, and I consider the biodigester plant will have a negative impact on all the improvements that local residents have strived to achieve.
3. I do not consider that the site, which is close to where people live and close to the Flying Shuttle pub, is an appropriate location, regarding smell, and appearance.
