I object to this proposal on the basis that I live in Streetly End which is an ancient hamlet of medieval and grade II listed cottages. We are liable to be used as a rat run/cut through when the 1307 becomes busy or when there is an accident and our road is just not equipped for even more increased load of heavy goods vehicles. This could adversely affect our buildings with the vibration of these heavy transit vehicles, trailers and tractors. We also have limited pavement and are on the school bus route. The load passing through our village could increase the chance of accidents and pollution and will make our village unsafe for pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders and dog walkers. It is clear from the proposal that we could be subjected to up to 148 journeys per day at peak times and some will come through our village. It is for this reason that I object.
