I am objecting for the planning of this anaerobic digester for the following reasons: From being brought up in this village I love having the aspect of it being quiet and peaceful that there is not much noise and it is away from industrial areas. The location choice of this is questionable about taking this countryside aspect away creating it into an industrial complex with no thoughts on possible alternative locations e.g. industrial estate in Haverhill. The next thing I like is that we do not get much traffic in our village which is very nice so do not have to worry about numerous vehicles coming down the road as its not a main road . I have heard that during peak times in June and July there will be advised of 148 lorry/tractor movements a day not only is this going to cause so much traffic when we rarely have that but also this kind of vehicles rip up the side of the ditches and will make the farm access routes which could also be a public footpath to be destroyed. adding on The area at which this is located is a peak and flood zone 3 which means there is a high probability of flooding which can cause more of an impact with a ton of vehicles going along. The countryside is a place where many people are interested in the nature that comes across in the villages. Having this digester will cause an environmental impact meaning species will lose their habitat but can also decrease the number of species in the area . The council are very keen to keen to protect as we do have wildlife areas around the village to maintain them. Finally, I love waking up to a beautiful sunrise/sunset from my bedroom and I would hate to be blocked or ruined by this digester. and the fact it will be seen as rural in nature is disappointing. This will change the way our village has looked and grown to be as a countryside.
