I strongly object to this application for an Anaerobic Digestion Plant at Spring Grove Farm, Withersfield. The proposed location is completely unsuitable and wholly inappropriate for the locality. The potential impact of the plant on local residents, businesses, a pre-school, commuters and the environment alike will be completely detrimental; there are no positive benefits at all! There has to be a more suitable, remote and less impactful location than this. Haverhill is a large growing town and has been unfairly stigmatised by many neighbours... do we really need to add to this narrative by agreeing to a foul smelling, unsightly Bioenergy Plant at the main gateway to the area? Please do not approve this totally inappropriate application. It is just wrong on every local level.
