As a future inhabitant of Haverhill, I would like to express my concern regarding this application. After consulting the application documents, I must raise certain points. The closest NO2 and SO2 monitoring results are based on Wicken Fen 24km north to the site. Is it not possible to monitor the levels of these molecules in Haverhill? I am concerned regarding the water consumption. The ground water levels might not at a critical level at the moment in this area, but human activities are putting under stress. New house developments are ongoing around Haverhill and I am concerned that a anaerobic digestion facility relying on ground water level might exacerbate the situation. As many people already living in Haverhill, I am concerned about the increase of the traffic on the A1307, in particular 70+ planned additional HGV on the June-July period, and the 60+ planned additional HGV on the September-October period. More HGV means more noise and also more CO2 emissions. I am also concerned by the proximity of this anaerobic digestion facility from the Colourbox nursery located at just 250m. Children attending sessions at the nursery will be among those suffering the most from the potential pollutions. Finally, I want to say that I am not 100% against this application but I find the arguments provided by the application not specific enough. Everything about the potential impacts seems to be estimated without any guarantee that the reality will reflect them. What if the gas emissions are larger than expected? What if there is more additional HGC traffic than expected? What if the operation of the site noisier than expected? Will the operator the site be legally bound to solve created by the anaerobic digestion facility? Just look at this recent example https://www-lefigaro-fr.translate.goog/flash-actu/pyrenees-atlantiques-la-puanteur-issue-d-un-methaniseur-de-totalenergies-excede-les-riverains-20231026?_x_tr_sl=fr&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp I think we all want to make sure that this does not happen in Haverhill.
