Comment for planning application SCC/0045/23SE

CodiKoat, The EpiCentre, Enterprise Way Haverhill Research Park

As a local resident and employee at the EpiCentre, I would like to add my objections to this planning request based on it's unsuitable location for its intended purpose. This site will not be attractive to visitors of Haverhill, the terrible sculpture (toilet roll holder) is bad enough but to put this site next to it with it's noise, smell and appearance to greet most new travelers into our small town will create a terrible first impression and be a general detriment to connecting this town with others and bring down the general perception of Haverhill. Our main office windows open towards the proposed site, so this site will affect both our current lovely view and likely our ability to ventilate our office space properly due to the smell. I strongly encourage you to reconsider the location of this site, perhaps it would be better in a more rural setting away from a large population of people that it could affect and not threaten the economic viability of this town as it tries to raise its reputation and gain some benefit from its proximity to Cambridge.
