I object to the application by Acorn Bioenergy Ltd/Thurlow Estate, I am a resident of Haverhill and am worried that the development of a large industrial anaerobic digestion plant is proposed so close to residential areas. The plant has the potential to leak methane, odours from the plant and delivery's of waste stuff will significantly impact my family's health.
The proposed site is a flood plain and the risk of pollution from the plant is considerable. There will be short and long term disruption as a result of the development and once completed the plant will run 24/7 with no consideration taken into account of how this will impact on nearby residents with noise and light pollution.
