This is a ridiculous place to suggest to build this kind of thing. The infrastructure in the local area cannot support this - the local roads are busy, congested and damaged enough by the existing traffic we have. The local village roads around withersfield will get used by lorrier whether that is the intention or not and there will be no way for this company to enforce that local roads and country lanes are not effected by this. There is clearly a huge amount of objection from local Residents as is evident by the "muck off" campaign. The smell for the local town will be over bearing. And although the company tries to ensure us that there is measures in place to prevent smell, what happens if these measure fail to secure foul smells? The company will not be shut down if it causes distress to locals. The local town will and residents will not benifit in any way from this as all the energy produced is the being recovered back miles and miles away causing further traffic issues and also massively contributing to greenhouse gases which defeats the object for this type of buisness. On top of that, the roads local to this planned building are well known for flooding and dangerous conditions in winter, how is damage caused by buisness traffic going to help this? The idea of the buisness, I can understand however this is totally the wrong location. Something like this should be sited well away from built up areas, local to major energy grids, and somewhere that locals can benefit from it. I strongly urge you to speak to as many locals as you can about this and see how many are so strongly against it.
