I strongly object to the location of the plant. As a local resident living close to the proposed location I am extremely concerned about the smell and noise. The proposed location is currently a picture of countryside which is a welcoming sight for visitors to the town but is also a beautiful area to go cycling, walking, enjoying the flood park and living nature and now a working environment for the adjacent Epicentre. There is also a restaurant adjacent which is definitely going to lose customers and will not be enjoyable one bit to be eating food sitting opposite the noise, increased traffic and smell. There is a large housing estate adjacent not to mention a nursery, why on earth do you think it's acceptable to build such a facility within close proximity of all of this. This type of plant must require a site with x number miles as a minimum, away from residents, food places, beautiful countryside and small businesses. There is a risk of flooding, increased traffic and a huge impact to the future of Haverhill. We have many new housing developments in progress and we need to focus on building the economy in the town not ruining any prospects to make Haverhill attractive to new businesses and residents. It is such a shame to even be considered for this location and I am really disappointed it's even made it this far in planning for this particular area. How on earth is this going to benefit Haverhill??
