My objection is based on the following concerns:
1. proximity to town and the smells affecting residents both from the Acorn site and the combination of smells from IFF. This will affect quality of life in the town and impact assessments are needed especially for those with breathing or sensory issues.
2. Infrastructure such as roads not being sufficient to cope with traffic volumes. Roads are in poor state in this area as it stands and maintenance is not sufficient as is. Increases in HGVs will be detrimental to road safety.
3 This will have a disproportiately negative effect on children especially with sensory issues such as those who are Autistic. We have a special needs school in town and many children in mainstream are highly affected (even triggered) by smell. This makes it difficult for them to regulate their behaviour and can cause meltdowns. We already have enough issues with muck-spreading and IFF that adding a third element could have a serious impact of all children's learning but especially those with special needs.
Consider a different location that impacts the town much less and I'd be more willing to support the project.
The smells from IFF are inescapable; if you add the smells from the Acorn site it could have a hugely detrimental effect on the people of the town especially the children.
